All of our events provide a variety of different stage events and panels, the following events are examples of what we do. For an exact list of events, make sure to view the timetable for the event you are attending, which will be published a few weeks before the event.
Main Stage Events
Anime Bingo: Need something to get you excited in the morning? Let’s play a game of bingo! The twist is, instead of numbers – we’re calling out popular anime!
Big Geek Quiz: With rounds on anime, gaming and other general geeky subjects, this is the geekiest quiz you’ll ever see! Get some friends together in a team, and join in the fun! Did we mention there’s a cash prize for the winning team?
Big Geek Raffle: For just £1 for a ticket you can compete in a raffle with a selection of prizes up for grabs! Raffle tickets are sold at the Merchandise desk up to an hour before the raffle.
Cosplay Auction: Ever heard of the term “sell yourself to the audience”? Join us on stage, tell the audience why you’re so amazing, and then the auction will begin! All money made during this auction goes to our charity for the event.
Clan Battle Showdown: You’ve been earning points for your chosen clan all weekend. With over 300 points up for grabs in this event, this showdown is the decider in who will emerge victorious! Come along and help them win the war!
Closing Ceremony: The end of the show! We will announce who has won the clan battle, how much money we have raised for charity and to reflect on the weekend just gone. We thank all who attend!
Cosplay Masquerade: Show off your amazing cosplays at this event for a chance to win cash prizes and tickets to the next event and the Cosplay Masquerade Trophy!
Dub That Anime: The aim of this event for those who have never seen it before is to dub a 30 second clip of our choice live on stage. The funnier the better. Prizes are up for grabs, so grab a partner to team up!
Karaoke: Sing your favourite songs! Any songs are welcome! Sign up at the stage desk an hour before karaoke begins.
Lip Sync Battle: Come battle one another with lip sync performances to your favourite tracks on stage. Ticket to a future AL event for the winner! Make sure to sign up early as there are only limited spots available.
Name That Anime Opening: A small quiz to test your anime music skills. Do you know the song name, where it is from and the artist?
Opening Ceremony: Join us for our opening ceremony were you get to meet the presenters and some of our crew. Have a dance and get ready for the rest of the weekend ahead!
Talent Show: Can you sing or dance? Perhaps you have a more unique talent. Whatever it is, enter and show it off! You could be the next big thing, with previous winners now regular performers at the convention.
Terrible Fanfiction Dramatic Reading: We all love a bit of fanfiction and we can admit some of it can be cringy or silly. We love it anyway, so lets act out some of our favourites!
Weebs Parliament: Debate topics within animes, gaming and the cosplay community. Topics such as “Is My Hero Academia Overrated?”, “What counts as cosplay”, “Who would win Goku or Naruto?” or “Xbox or Playstation?”
3D Japanese Idols: If you’re interested in Japanese Idol culture – this is the panel for you!
Beginner’s Guide to DnD: Have you ever wanted to join your friends in DnD, but wasn’t quite sure where to start with it? This panel teaches you all of the basics of the game!
Beginner’s Guide to J-pop Music: If you want to learn more about Japanese pop music then this is the panel for you!.
Beginner’s Guide to Pokemon: Pokemon has been around for a long time, so a lot of new fans have no idea where to start. If this applies to you, then come and join us to discuss where to start!
Hama Bead Workshop: Come and try some Hama beading with vibrant learners. All materials provided. Suitable for ages 5 and up, boys and girls. Hama bead are small plastic beads which you can put onto a board and create many designs – decoration trinkets and more. No experience required! A kind donation of £1 per creation is asked.
How to Make Manga: Join us for a fun panel on how to create your very own manga!
Icebreakers & How To Survive A Con: New to conventions? Came on your own or want to make new friends? Come along to the icebreakers to play some games and meet new people. We will also give you some tips on how to survive a convention.
Mental Health In Cosplay: If we’re talking about mental health, what does cosplay have to do with that? Maybe nothing, or maybe a lot. There isn’t much research out there on the world of cosplay and its intersection with mental health. There are some solid inferences that can be made to cosplay, however, based on what we already know is beneficial to mental health. Come join us to talk more on how cosplay and mental health come together.

Aeronexus is a UK Based sci fi themed synthwave / darksynth artist delving into 80s heavy / soundtrack synthesiser music. Inspired by 80s cartoon, anime and soundtracks. He deftly uses a mix of distorted bass, ambient, orchestral and synth, producing a mix of styles and sounds all drawn from the music he’s been inspired by.

A stand-up game show. If you remember MSN and video game soundtracks from the 90s, then you won’t forget this show (round of applause everyone for that filthy tag line). With the country (nay, the world?) more than ever feeling nostalgic for "the good old days", Daniel Nicholas, the ‘Prince of Peculiar’ (GreatCentral.co.uk), takes you on a journey to work out whether nostalgia is actually a good thing. Featuring a host of inventive and silly games including ‘Reflect or Restore?’, ‘Get Your Balls Out’, ‘Desirable Dates’, and also a game everyone has to pretend to be sick and gets fed Jaffa Cakes.
Aug 2019 saw Death Ingloria hitting the stage at Boom Town Fair, World Con, Dublin (World Science Fiction Convention) and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Now they have set their sights on creating Death Ingloria II: Death By Admin, the next volume of the story.
Death Ingloria explores Humanity’s depths, its heights, and its inevitable conclusions through rock music, comic art and animation.
Death Ingloria's debut album The Wolf Onboard is a complete Science Fiction story told across seven songs, a seven page comic book and seven animated videos which play out during Death Ingloria's performances. The comic is the narration of the story, the songs the voices of the characters.

Dr. Vee (Manga Big Bang)
Born in 1978 in Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Vivian Wijaya a.k.a Dr.Vee is a certified medical doctor turned manga creator. After finishing up her degree, she chose to follow her dream of being a mangaka and started enrolling in courses under Japanese mangaka Machiko Maeyama, who had just started a school in Jakarta. After she had made her debut in a magazine in Indonesia, she then moved back to Tokyo and enrolled in the Nippon Designers School to study manga.
Currently Vivian has a manga series published in the magazine of her production, Manga Big Bang ®while editing and managing other creative talents at her publishing company as chief editor/director.
EIRA is a j-idol inspired performer based in South West England. Her specialty is high-energy idol dance and her setlists include a range of jpop, anisongs, vocaloid, mainstream and alternative idol tracks as well as her own self produced music. After a very successful international debut at Starlight Idol Festival in Atlanta, USA, EIRA is hoping to make her future performances her most vibrant yet, and you're invited to join the fun!
After being inspired by groups like +tic color and Morning Musume, Grace wanted to become an idol and bring the idol culture to her country. After taking part in the 2017 Houkago Princess auditions, Grace knew that being an idol was her new dream, and later that year joined One Wish and began working on her solo career. Since then, she has performed all over England and enjoys both covering Japanese idol groups as well as working on her own music.
Since debuting in 2012 as a member of the online idol group Crystal Rose, Jenny Hayes has been a part of the online idol scene since the age of 18. Through the years she has also been a member of Crystal Rose UK, now known as One Wish, as well as following her own solo endeavours. Throughout the years she has performed at various UK conventions, promoting Japanese culture through Jpop and Jrock as well as releasing her own music!
Jollyboat are a fan-favourite of the UK convention scene. Half band, half stand-up comedy show, they write super catchy songs about all the geeky stuff you love (and they're really friendly too). You can only understand when you've seen them live, so don't miss it! It'll be your new favourite thing.

One Wish are a trio of idols based in the North of England. Every member brings their own style, and they come together to bring idol culture to the stage. Join the green heart of the group, Holly, the red rock idol, Jenny, and the orange melody, Grace for a full hour of Japanese and Korean pop music.
Ooberfuse are a songwriting band composed of Hal St John and Cherrie Anderson. They are unafraid to deep-sea dive into the deepest oceans of human emotions to colour-up drab contemporary life. Their songs are audio footprints left behind by people impelled towards invisible things.
Their music spans several sub-genres of rock, ranging from J-rock to Pop Punk, blending distorted guitars with 8-bit chiptunes.
Ron (@RonStarrDraws) is an illustrator and barista that studied at Portsmouth Uni and now freelances character art, while maintaining her nerdy lifestyle with a "real job". New to conventions, but not new to talking, Ron is ready to talk too much to everyone they can.
SaNTINO is based in Leeds, but was born on the internet. The 90s saw influences from Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, JoJo’s, Dragonball Z and the likes of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and hiphop alike. Also pulling influences from disco, soul and funk as well as contemporary, post-internet music trends, SaNTINO’s specific brand of pop music bridges generations and blends genres to a dizzying, kaleidoscopic effect. SaNTINO is quickly becoming known for his dynamic and extremely energetic live solo performances as well as his ever expanding and eclectic original material.
Sugoi ne are an electro-indie duo from South London. They met at a recording studio in Surrey and Released their debut EP Papaya in May 2019. Sugoi ne are inspired by their work in sound design and combine melodic hooks with moments of ant soundscape. They will be performing a selection of covers from popular anime shows as well as their own songs.

The Extreme Improv Comedy Show, featuring host comedian David Pustansky and the Extreme Improv Team who are going to make up hilarious scenes, songs and stories all with a anime and gaming theme based entirely on audience suggestions.
The RPG Pianist
The RPG Pianist is an award winning young pianist who not only plays classical music but also covers a wide range of anime and gaming scores.
Turquoisypink and Pinkyturquoise
Turquoisypink and Pinkyturquoise are a unit of cosplayers that specialise in competitive performances. Though this is their first full length live, they’ve shown up in cons around the country, and maybe even won a prize or two! Having promised they absolutely practiced, they’re set to perform so be sure to bring the hype! (And probably some energy drinks. They’ll need it.)
